Amelia Gioscia received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Automation Engineering and the M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in Automation Engineering in 2021 and 2024, respectively, from Polytechnic of Bari. During her master’s thesis, she has implemented and validated a perturbative control strategy in an end-effector planar haptic robot for upper limb motor and cognitive rehabilitation. The work was supervised by Prof. Paolo Lino, Prof. Stefano Mazzoleni, Eng. Andrea Scoglio, and Eng. Zoran Curto in collaboration with Humanware Srl.
Since November 2024, she is a Ph.D. student in Smart and Sustainable Industry. Her research is focused on rehabilitative robotic systems.
