Berardino Prencipe received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Automation Engineering and the M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Bari, Bari, Italy, in 2017 and 2020, respectively. His master’s thesis concerned the adoption of Deep Learning techniques for Liver Parenchyma, Vessels and Segments delineation from CT scans, under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Guerriero and Prof. Vitoantonio Bevilacqua. 
Since November 2020, he is a Ph.D. Student in Electrical and Information Engineering at the Industrial Informatics Laboratory, DEI, Politecnico di Bari, Bari. His main research interests include Medical Imaging, Deep Learning and Bioinformatics.
