Miriana Lomoro received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Medical Systems Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari in 2023 and 2025, respectively (B.Sc.: 110/110; M.Sc.: 110/110 cum laude). Her master’s thesis developed an explainable intelligent model for the automatic classification of subjects affected by Alzheimer’s disease from magnetic resonance imaging. The work was supervised by Prof. Vitoantonio Bevilacqua, Prof. Antonio Brunetti, and Eng. Elena Sibilano.

Since November 2025, she has served as a second-level research technologist at the Polytechnic University of Bari within the PNRR Complementary D34H project.
